Here are some choice outtakes from the latest radio play, Super Awkward Funcast Players Present A Staged Reading of August: Osage County. Breathe in the awkwardness.

As always, enjoy the trip down the rabbit hole and make some snacks. It's gonna be a bumpy ride...
00:0000:00
Here is our 3rd Annual (late) Super Awkward Funcast radio play, this time of an Oscar-nominated film entitled "August: Osage County" by Tracy Letts.

If you're not familiar with the film or play of the same name, I'll put it to you like this: This film follows the trials and tribulations of a dysfunctional Oklahoma family in a sweltering house in August. Along the way, secrets are revealed and relationships are tested in this roller-coaster ride of a screenplay written by the playwright Tracy Letts. This screenplay is one of the final drafts that was submitted for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Now join Elle Latham, your Humble Hostess, in addition to the new Super Awkward Funcast Players for this exciting and hilarious (as well as noisy) rendition of the family drama.

In this riveting episode of the Super Awkward Funcast, Elle Latham has a deep and
slightly argumentative discussion with her friend Steven Robles.

On the docket in this free-for-all unedited extravaganza of a show are
topics ranging from marriage equality and why it's a distraction from
other more pressing matters that need addressing to who we think
actually has a chance of being nominated for an Emmy this year.

Here is our 2nd annual Super Awkward Funcast radio play, this time of a comedy titled "The Importance of Being Earnest" by the incomparable Oscar Wilde.

If you're not familiar with this play, I'll put it to you like this: Two young men in 1890's England use the name of "Ernest" in order to gain the affections of two ladies named Cecily and Gwendolyn. At the same time, the first "Ernest", who is actually named Jack, is having the ultimate identity crisis as he has yet to learn who his real parents are. All will be revealed in the most hilarious of ways in this comedy of manners from one of the best satirists of all time.

Join Elle Latham, your Humble Hostess in addition to the Super Awkward Funcast Players for this rousing (and at times noisy) rendition of the classic tale.

**Apologies for the weird transition in the beginning. A line was somehow cut out of the recording and I had to do a bad ADR job as a result. Also, there is quite a bit of outside background noise. Which makes it extra awkward and fun! Know that I am in the process of finding an actual recording studio space that will omit those sounds in future podcasts.

***Maybe don't use headphones to listen to this episode. There is outside noise throughout since Hollywood is so crazy now.
